I have some exciting news about a former student. Daryl Marcus (who moved to CO not long after getting his second degree at USA) has sold his short story Cell Tower to UNDER THE BED magazine, a cool new horror mag. Daryl last year won the F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald first prize in college fiction writing for another short story and earned me the teacher of excellence award from that same competition. Im waiting on that novel, Daryl!
