I have stopped eating items with palm oil in it some time ago when I learned of what is happening to these poor animals & the whole ecosystem in these territories. Grocery shopping is taking double time now because I check labels all the time. I now find it selfish of me to eat something that I know an innocent life has suffered and/or died so I can have it. There are alternative ways to eat where the innocent do not have to die. I know it is a win/win situation. I will be healthier for the choices I am making and I am helping to save lives.
