I have stories up the wazoo! Like the time I had to stay long after my working hours in the office watching and keeping an Autistic 12 year old entertained along with her 3 other siblings while waiting for foster placement because there were no other relative or family friends acceptable to take them in. I dont even know where to start to tell you the kind of life these children were living and what they had been through at a very young age. But they were close knit, and the 7 year old was the mother to the 12 year old, 4 year old and 10 month old. We were trying our hardest to keep them all together but no one would take the 12 year old girl with autism (foster parents need a special certificate/training). Late into the night 2 homes were located and I broke down, balling my eyes out from stress, from frustration, from all the other emotions that circled around me because their little world was being broken up even more.
