I have talked to so many folks in the last couple of weeks, I am not sure what I said to who. So, I will just post my condition and update my FaceBook Friends. On August 27th, I had surgery for prostate cancer. The surgery went very well and I had no problems with anesthetic, wires and tubes etc. Unfortunately, the cancer was not fully contained in the prostate so some may (or may not) have gotten away. Can’t be treated for six months until I am fully healed. After that, test will be run to see if there is any residual cancer and most likely would be treated with radiation. I can say that prospect scares the hell out of me but it basically is what it is. Resting at home until the 22nd of Sept. then back to work. That’s it so far and I will post updates as they come up!!
