I have to ask all of you what you would do in a case like this. You are in the grocery store, standing behind a young woman with a cart with several cases of soft drinks. She gets everything off the bottom of the cart, except for a large container of detergent, probably a good $20 buck value. The case of Dr Pepper is in the back of the cart and the detergent underneath on the bottom of the cart. OK, she pays for everything and proceeds out the door with the detergent still there, unpaid for. Do you, A) Say nothing and mind your own business, B) call to her and say you forgot the item, C) You rat on her to the cashier. People can make a mistake, right? You might want to save her a trip back in to pay for it. Or have her worry tonight about the mistake? What would you do? Please answer honestly. I did one of these A, B, or, C. I want to know if I did the right thing.
