I have to be honest....maybe its me...i dunno....I certainly dont understand...why the us has to be the world police...theres no doubt...i do NOT agree with the sarin gas being used...especially women and children...but what i do think is that maybe russia/ great britian etc. The entire world needs to be on same page..meaning its not the american tax payers picking up the bill...not to mention 6 out of 8 ships/ subs are ours. Where the hek is the rest of the world? I understand we r one of the super powers...but also others...wheres china/ japan/ rest of europe?...excluding the swiss...they have srmy knife but no dang army!..being a christian....i would so enjoy to visit the middle east but again i dont think it will happen in my life time...someone explain why...at this point...america is struggling to tk care of america...and our own kids..education..social sec./ welfare/ jobs etc. These people have been fighting for 10 k yrs in that general region.....what makes our key leaders...obama/ mccain/ Bohnener etc. Think that ....just like iraq n afghanistan...what makes ant of these people...think that ...just because the great white hope( america...not being racial) that this is gonna change sqat!?...I find this to be a crazy way to think or believe that this will solve any problems.....currently many americans are outta food..no health ins./ no jobs/etc. So imho....I think the usa needs to step bk and be a part of the united nations...let them decide whats happened then we as a joined world...send in bombs etc. But none of our boots on the ground...i think its someones elses turn to " save the world"...helping is 1 thing....but i say cut off all aid etc. And for ONCE...lets take care of us...our country...and our people....before we spend billions on someplace else!!...i say we feed our kids...fix our system...fix education...lets worry about america...for a change!!..im only 1 person trying hard to tk care of a family....thoughts?
