I have to say its been an active nd interesting creative week.. my resourcefulness has been put to the test, a real roller coaster. Walked my little feet off this week must have taken more than a zillion steps in all directions to make it all work out just right. Collaborating with new dynamic artistic organizers that show me tons of respect nd love nd make me feel like being in my space nd working with me means ......something to them. Thats how were making amazing new friends at NM. We shared incredible moments with great performances this week too. Got to host fantastic world renouned musicians nd talented poets travelling through, in our creative centres little but fast becoming a focal point music room for good energy, and experience the beauty nd meaning of humility in the company of beautiful magical people. My private JOY!... Also shared being big sister, artist, coach, creative director and sometimes mum vibes with our young artists.. I tell you folks Im bone exhausted, nd I must learn to delegate more I know! its coming bit by bit im beginning to discover nd work with people who understand me better nd get the the bigger picture of this wonderful vision many like minded hands make great nd light work haha!! were in a better place, I feel the love, nd wouldnt have it any other way. We find meaningful ways to assist our creative youth while chanelling good energy, working purposefully, earning a decent living nd staying lovely nd soulful! I was born to do this. I feel it. Its taken a minute to settle into this new direction, as all things take time to mature in life. Im glad I took the time to still the spinning noise in my mind nd delve deeper within, listen and hear the call of the quiet little voice inside. Im embracing growing, maturing gracefuly, feeling grounded, anchored, and definately more in tune with my inner ME. I wish my new friends Professor of World Cultures in Music at San Francisco State University nd saxophonist exraodinaire Hafez Modirzadeh,nd Drummer, percussionist/ Pianist Royal Hartigan, all the best and a safe trip back. I learned new things nd Its been wonderful sharing creatively together this whole week. Well do it again soon the universe will conjure a way Thanking grace nd retreating gently. Once again returning to the Golden sound of Silence. xxbb
