I have to say my day started off pretty scary...while driving down 95 S this am to school in Boynton.....I came upon a motorcyclist who had just crashed in the middle of rush hour traffic on the highway. I immediately pulled over to his aid and to aid the others that stopped as well. It had just happened and the bike was still practically on his legs. I pulled over with Zoe in the car into the left hand breakdown lane and asked one of the stopped motorists to come and stand by my car while I helped to aid the victim. Let me tell you...it is VERY SCARY to be kneeling down in the second to left lane on 95 with cars creeping right by your back....It was very scary as the man was flailing all over on his back and moaning and groaning. He kept going in and out of consciousness and all I could think was Please God do not let this man stop breathing or die! Several sternal rubs later, the paramedics arrived and prepared to take him to the nearby trauma center.....All I can say is I called the trauma center late morning and was told (which is all they can legally tell me) that the man was stable. Today as I was driving home, i had such anxiety driving on 95 and all I could think of was the scene from this mornings accident.....ugh.....I pray that man is truly stable and going to be okay. :(
