This is what was posted on my Facebook page early this morning. I cried,..was shaken, couldnt stop the tears from falling. All I could do is remember only, one Bible verse which goes like this: What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?(Romans 8:31-32) I met Joel Way 3 years ago when I first came to Germany, as a matter of fact his father and older brother were the ones that picked me from the airport, showed me hospitality by giving me a place to stay Kostenlos a term that indicates free or without pay in German. They took me in treated me as one of their own, a son among sons, a brother among brothers. People I didnt know, people I never imagined to meet, cared for me all because of the powerful name of Jesus Christ. To say the truth I didnt think Joel was a model Christian but I saw the look in his parents face, the need, the want, the urge for their son to know and give his life to Jesus Christ. I cherished the precious memories with the family and I quickly headed out to do my own living in Berlin. I took a train and that was the end. 3 years later here I find myself in my own Country, confused, broken, uncertain about my future and no place to go, who to look at, who to follow. And suddenly this, my past catches up to me to remove the endless clouds of uncertainty that overshadow my current existence. Thank you Joel for this powerful testimony. You have found your way, and have demonstrated once again the healing power of the cross, and that in the end JESUS is the way the truth and the life. I wish you all the best in the new beginning of your Christian journey. Remember Jesuss words: John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
