I have to say this to specific individuals who think only their opinions matter about how I choose to raise my children...Obviously, my children are living proof of my success as a mother (their father is great too). I have taken them to jiu jitsu as much as certain ballet mothers have dropped their kids at ballet school. A major difference is...I actually stay the entire time and even PARTICIPATE in the experience with them..3 years and counting...ballet is not for everyone. My 2 daughters have stated they love jiu jitsu and hope to run/own a school one day...They are more assertive and confident and acquire self-defense skills that ballet would not provide... Come in and try a class sometime and find out for yourself what it takes...Jiu Jitsu is for EVERYONE, all shapes and all sizes... So stop talking about ballet to my kids behind my back and discouraging the course they clearly enjoy, which is jiu jitsu... that they love...it has not been forced upon them, they love it...So run and tell that!!! Thank you very much!!! ***just a disclaimer I have nothing against ballet personally, it is a great sport that requires much hard work and dedication as well*** BTW I despise when people use the passive aggressive approach of bad mouthing my choices/or lack thereof: by saying negative things to my children when they are alone with you...You know who you are...STOP IT
