I have twin frat boys who are 19 months old. They were born at 33wks with minimal issues. They are delayed in speech. One has had hearing issues due to fluid behind his ears. He is having tubes placed in a couple of weeks. My pedi has a wait and see attitude about the speech and development, but I am uncomfortable with that. Also, one boy (the one with the hearing issue) is displaying some early signs of autism. I keep hearing about early intervention, but am not sure where to begin. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. We live in the Houston area. ~Worried boy Mom
