I haven´t been home in a couple of months. Home is that place - TopicsExpress

I haven´t been home in a couple of months. Home is that place where you go at the end of your day, you take off your shoes, your bra, feel comfortable, safe, have a cup of tea, cook or do whatever you want to do, it´s your home and you do what you please. It´s private, safe and you are free. Home might not be always peaceful and perfect but you know the people you live with and ideally you love them. When you are not home you start to lift from the ground, lose sense of reality, safety, freedom and confidence. I caught myself homeless, anger and frustration raised and took control over me at times. But I know things happen to us for a reason and I had to find back my path in the mess I was living. I was meditating but my mind was going all over the place. I was wondering how people can live one day in one place, next day in another, live chaos and still be content, I was searching...the answer came to me in the shape of Gayatri Mantra as I woke up one morning. This mantra and others that followed and of course the support of old and new friends helped me to find my center again. Mantras have been my home on the go, they have the advantage that you can take them anywhere, I was chanting internally at the house I was living in that moment, streets and subway (free ride for them). In the process I learned to accept that anger is just another part of being human and I learned to accept that its ok to be angry sometimes, so far I was wrestling with it which was extremely tiring because anger is a very powerful emotion, I was denying that part of myself. Once I accepted that anger was another part of me I was able to channel it and express it. It bought me some kind of peace, anger was not overpowering me, I listened to it and it helped me. Here you have a happy playful version of this mantra. https://youtube/watch?v=nwRoHC83wx0 Love
