I hear people say I found God quite a bit and I would like to point out, in my experience, God was never lost. The difference is what the prescription on your God Goggles are. Some see God in everything, some only see it in their religion, others perceive God in the space in between the words, the unknown. No matter where we are on the scale, it is true to the degree that we believe its true. I liken it to what it must feel like to go to outer space. To look at our tiny blue planet floating and realize how small we are in comparison to the rest of the Universe. To know that all our complaints, worries, and missions are but a drop of water in an infinite ocean. Does that make this whole thing meaningless? My choice is to ride this wave like there is no tomorrow. I choose to know that our creator has blessed us with a Universe teeming with abundance. I stand in the midst of this abundance, using some of it, circulating all of it, thrilled to be apart of it. Every morning I awaken energized; every night I go to bed satisfied. Every day I feel younger and stronger. I affirm that every day my hearts desires take shape and surround me. I choose to know that I am a necessary ingredient in the world at this time. I sing if I want to sing, paint when I want to paint. And most importantly I release any sense of comparison between my gift and anothers. I do not Try I do.
