I am sickened at the ignorance this demonstrated both about dogs and the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act, but above all, that someone who was playing Santa Claus for children took it upon himself to ruin this childs magical visit. I echo Mikkels gratitude that the mall fired him, but would rather it had never happened at all. The good news is that the mall, The Shops at Mission Viejo, apologized to the girl and her family, and offered her a private meeting with Santa -- hopefully this time someone who embodies the true meaning of the season! -- and complimentary photos with Pup-cake.
