I heard the CRAZIEST thing the other day...a girl thought that drinking WATER would make her gain weight. Uhhmmm... So it got me thinking...what are the most common MYTHS regarding HEALTH? Here are a few: 1) Eating fatty foods makes you fat (you cant put french fries and almonds in the same category just because they are both high in fat) 2) Eating carbohydrates makes you fat (again, peaches and pop-tarts are in two very different categories) 3) Gluten-free foods are always healthier (listen, if it comes in a BOX from a factory, its BAD...sugar free, fat free, gluten free...doesnt matter...EAT REAL FOOD!) 4) Spot training helps you burn fat in certain areas (why do people still believe this?! Abs are made in the kitchen; you cant get rid of a gut by doing crunches!) 5) The scale is a good way to track fat loss (get a tape measure and a mirror my friends) Hope I didnt disappoint you too much this morning with FACTS, but it is my job to spread the TRUTH about HEALTH! I do it out of love, I promise!
