Death threat: Osoba faction cries out A political group loyal to a former governor of Ogun State, Chief Segun Osoba, under the aegis of Matagbamole, on Wednesday petitioned the state Director, State Security Services over an alleged plan to eliminate some of his members and some journalists. They called on the DSS to unravel those behind the plot and save them from elimination. Though the group has not uncovered those behind the death plot, they claimed that those on the hit list include the state factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, loyal to Osoba, Chief Olu Agemo, two Senators, three lawmakers, two journalists, Vanguard and Nigerian Tribune correspondents in the state, Daud Olatunji and Yinka Olukoya, respectively and three others. Matagbamole further claimed that it got the hint of the death threat on the social media reportedly released on Sunday August 24, 2014. In the said post on the Internet, they said those listed were warned to relocate from their present places of abode to another so as to avoid being eliminated.
