I heard the story of a man who had a son who was 6 years of age and every morning this kid would tell his dad how he was being bullied at the bus stop by a kid the same age as him, similar in height and weight as well. So one morning the kid complained to his dad as normal about the kid at the bus stop and this time the dad (who was tired of seeing his kid get bullied by the other kid) says to his son, son, its time to learn how to fight. So he takes his son to the bus stop and sure enough the other kid is there and he picks a battle with the boy. A fight ensues and the dad is sitting back watching not the fight, but the crowd. See as long as his son was fighting someone of the same size as his son he never would get in the way, but the moment someone older or bigger would join the dad was there to defend his son. Friends, this is the same attitude we have to have towards our battles in life. God only gives his greatest battles to his soldiers...... The fact that God is allowing you to go through what you are going through is because hes given you the strength to fight AND win. God can step in at any moment, but he allows us to fight to make us stronger and gives us courage over these minor battles, but the moment the battle becomes to intense it is good to know our heavenly father is there to join the fight!
