I honest to goodness battled with this status post but figured it easier than tracking you all down😉 I am bidding goodbye to my Facebook. No one has upset me, it isnt a detox/fast from it. It is me being obedient. The saddest thing? It hurts. Like I dont wanna, I am too hooked, what if I miss out, who will see my kids pics & posts, how will I keep in contact hurts. But I love my Lord more. Funny how we pray for Him to step in & take over cuz goodness knows I am messing it up & He wrecks us. Now I know this sounds a bit damsel in distress & silly cuz I mean my goodness its...Facebook. But that is just it-it shouldnt hurt this much but it shows the stronghold. Facebook is great for many but for me-its become an idol. Calling it for what it is for me. And it isnt stopping here-crazy how He wants every part of our life huh😉 So for those who see me-I am not in a funk just getting cleaned out by my Savior. Itll hurt but I am ready. Now as to the status-yes seems goofy (sorta is) and seems showy (not at all intended). But I am doing this because I do love keeping in touch-so send me your number or email me: inHisgrip15@hotmail because I love you all. From a girl who moved A LOT Facebook was a dream come true. I could keep up with my San Jacinto youth group friends, my Amarillo high, Gallup High & Carlsbad high friends, the other 10 schools I attended and all the previous churches we served at. But email & texting are great so keep me updated😉 As for my pics of my kids-just know theyre precious lol or stop by to see us! And if for nothing else in this loooong status-pray for God to move and move mightily. Yes it hurts but oh how wonderful too to know He has us always in the palm of His hand😊
