I hope all of you who see this will read what I am saying here. I am currently going through and making a lot of changes in my life. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. I have decided that I will no longer post anything on my facebook page that I think is negative. I am not negative by nature. I love to make people smile. I do not like conflict, but I wont normally back down from an intense debate if I know I am right.....And I normally am right.... I play pirate as a hobby...... It is an escape just as golf, fishing, or hunting is to some people, except I think it is a lot more rewarding....... I have had some bad things happen in my life recently that have left me standing in the dust wondering just where I need to be, and what I need to be working towards. As I search for my place in this world I recently found a paper that I had written some notes on back in 2011. My favorite radio personality of all time, Neal Boortz, a radio talk show host who is now retired but still fills in on news talk 95.5 in Atlanta made a statement that is simple, yet hit me right between the eyes. Neil stated 3 very short rules to a successful life on April 25, 2011.......Basically he says that to be successful in life you need to do only three things. 1. Proclaim your rarity. You are rare. No one else in this world is like YOU.........Basically I think he is saying to love yourself..... 2. Go the extra mile. Always give more than is expected of you.......... and 3. Use your power of choice wisely !!!! It seems simple, but if you truly apply these three rules it is a lot of effort. I hope that any of you who know me will be able to say when you see me or see something I put on this page that it appears I am applying these three principles to my life from today forward....... I love you all. Thank you for reading this. Now I am going to take on this day....... Savvy ????
