I hope this is ok to post here, i am getting desperate.... My dad has cancer and i have no way of going to see him, we have one car but it is usually needed by either my son or my wife to get to work and back so i am wanting another vehicle. I have not discussed this with my wife yet, but i want to see if i get any good offers that i can show her so maybe she will be more open to allow me to do this, so right at this moment this is more of a feeler post...because if my wife is going to kill me for this i will remove the post, i dont want my wife mad at me, but i am sure she will understand. I am looking for a stock Jeep Cherokee 4 door with the good 4.0 motor, and around 150k - 180k miles, not beat up and rusted out, MUST be dependable, clean, and have good tires. No need for fancy paint, or any extras, just a good dependable Cherokee....NO GRANDS ! It must be a dependable vehicle, as i said my dad has cancer and i need something i can jump in and go without worry, and i would also like to go see my mom in northern Minnesota, she has dementia and cant make the long drive by herself. I have an awesome, like new John Deere D125 mower, only has 26 hours on it.....20hp V-twin, 42 deck, optional adjustable drag links installed so the steering is adjustable, brand new 46 JD snow blade, JD tire chains, JD P10 lawn cart, JD double tube front bumper, JD steering wheel knob, added fuel shut off valve, and heavy duty cover. Have religiously performed all maintenance on time....oil and filter changes, greasing the deck and tractor. Still under factory warranty, purchased from Agrivision, the John Deere Dealership in Creston, have all paperwork. Trade value between $2500 - $2700. The red Jeep in the photo is just to show what body style i am looking for, no Grand Cherokees ! Located in Murray....about 56 miles south of Des Moines, in Clarke county. I have no way of delivering it, it must be picked up here, sorry. If i get any offers before my wife sees this post i will discuss it with my wife, if this post suddenly vanishes you know she probably said i cant do this, my wife bought me that mower and its my baby, but my dad is a higher priority.
