I hope you give this a read. Of the things Ive written recently, this might be the most important to me. Im playing off a theme started by another blogger last week, but applying it to men in this case. As I think Ive said before, Im always wary when writing about marriage and parenting issues. I dont want to come off like Im the wise old veteran dispensing my sage advice, because that couldnt be further from the truth. Instead, I want this to be read as something offered by someone very much in the thick of it, and very much struggling to be a good man and a decent husband in his own right. Ultimately, even if it unavoidably gets pegged with the dreaded marriage advice label, I believe that its more important to talk about these things than it is to talk about politics or world affairs. Infinitely more important, in fact. So here are the things, from my view, that are causing many of us husbands to profoundly damage our wives and destroy our marriages. There are other things, for sure, but these might be the most prevalent, and therefore the most relevant to many of you:
