I jumped out of my seat the moment I saw uncle Bob and aunt Jane. I knew yesterdays Gathering of Friends was going to be different then those that weve had. As much as everyone defines me as the driving force behind these events. I have to say its you guys. If you didnt show up there would be nothing to drive. Thank you all. The possibilities are endless. Yesterday was as much a family reunion as a Gathering of Friends. The look on Suzies face when Fred went over to say hi. Were all family when it comes right down to it. We all share the common bond of New Paltz. Whether the bond is new as it is for Debbie or almost historic to hear uncle Bob say something about how long its been since hes been to Pat & Georges and it looks different during the day. The staff there is to be commended for dealing with the ever changing people at the tables. Almost like waves coming in. We started at one table at low tide and had six or seven at high tide then back down to one at the end of the evening. They never missed a beat. I can only hope you guys tipped them as well as I did. I would like to thank each of you but I cant. Sorry its damage from the wonder years and I cant remember everyone that was there. Then theres Lance, I remember Lance. I love you bro. Thanks for making yesterday happen...
