I just cant wrap my mind around some things. Learned today that there is a church/denomination that will kick you out (you are no longer a member) if you dont pay a certain amount of money every year. This is separate from the money you give on Sundays when the basket is passed around. Now I know that you are suppose to tithe every Sunday what you can, and there are multiple scriptures about this ( titheandofferingscriptures/infopages.php?info_id=23 ) , but where in the Bible does it say that you have to buy your way into a church? Thats just wrong. The churches Ive been to, and there have been many, pass the offering basket around, but your name isnt on envelopes, etc so they can keep track of the amount you give. I told someone the other day that most religions have been made by man, and this one particular church is a good example.
