I just do not fully understand the bliss each time the warm wind touches my face every motorcycle ride I do, seems a sensation of freedom and peace is trying to keep pace with every change in velocity... Most of the time I cherish such moments but then for only a short period of time because for some reason in every ride we do the time will come when we have to apply the break and put the journey to a halt... It is then I come to a realization that LIFE IS INDEED VERY SHORT; that we are on a journey and that each journey we take we tend to experience a variety of things, sometimes we travel in our comfort zone yet there are those times when we have to learn to leave that zone and make the best of what the journey has to offer. There are those points in our journey when we could only wish that time would just pause and let us enjoy the beauty and wonders given by the situation; yet there are also some points in our journey that it seems we wanted to step on the gas and make time fly faster as we experience some bumps and setbacks along the road... If there are things we have to learn from every drive we make, one thing we must never forget is as long as we are at the back of the steering wheel "we are in control" of our ride... Yes, we are in control of our journey; we must understand that setbacks, confusions, problems, heartaches, and even desperation are just looming around the corner, just like accident may happen anytime, but we can always have our guards active, we can always turn the steering wheel to the direction we want... If in our journey we fall in a hole there is no one to blame but us; thus we must learn to understand that in this journey we have to focus only in one direction, that we have to treasure and appreciate the wonderful experiences we encounter along the road, and that every excess baggage that makes the journey heavy must be put aside. ‘LIFE IS SHORT’ and our journeys will soon come to an end, we do not know when or how, but we can always enjoy it with people that matters most to us…
