I just fed a homeless man. No big to me really, it probably cost me $3. I would have normally just kept my eyes forward and waited for the light to change, ignoring him. But, in a country with so much waste, excess, greed, gluttony, and selfishness this coherent older gentleman was going hungry; begging for even pennies. I had just went grocery shopping and was thinking about how tight my money is, what I am going to do next week?etc etc and then I saw this man. BAM! My problems disappear and I am the one whos got it made, comparatively. So I gave him a few grocery items I had just boughten and a $1 coin. Ive never seen such appreciation! I didnt post this because I need to have my ego stroked, or to hear what a good deed I did. I DONT EVEN WANT A COMMENT OR LIKE FOR THIS POST! Instead I wrote this to hopefully inspire some humanity within you. Whenever you are down and out, do a good deed for someone else. I dont know where I heard that, but I CHALLENGE ALL OF YOU to do the same. The world is only better when we make it better. Love.
