I just fell victim to prejudice again. Im soaked from working in the rain. The boss has set no criteria for calling the day when it rains. We are stopped while the rain is stopped and I go into Wendys and am asked to leave. Obviously they must have thought I was a vagrant because why would anybody in their right minds work and get that wet for a job in the city.... Hmmm I dont know. Nothing was said to the other guys on the crew but they all left their sweaters in the truck and Im the only one with long hair. Not sure why I was singled out, but I can guess. Told the boss I was upset by this and he gave me an ultimatum. Somehow he is going to find out about this post because he always does. So We shall see how this all plays out.... To top it all off one of Edmontons few decent music venues the Wundi is going to be lost. Gonna need some really good music this weekend to get over this. So I get kicked out of the Wendys because working at my job makes me look like a vagrant and if I quit my job as my boss suggested I might actually end up a vagrant. So what do I do? Play music and hope the world gets better is about all I can think of.
