I just found out that my liner notes for James Kings album Three Chords and The Truth was nominated for an award by the IBMA. Got to admit, it feels pretty good. But the album is a lot better than the liner notes; I did sweat over them, because I wanted to do the album justice...I hope I came close, and that isnt false modesty; it is a landmark album, and deserves a lot more attention from the gatekeepers than it has received...if you havent heard it, do yourself, me, and James a favor and give it a GOOD listen.It is James at his best, and that is something...
