I just found out this morning that my Aunt Eldora ran away with Jesus! The moment she took her last breath here on earth, she took her first breath in heaven. Home! In an instant! Her family and friends will miss her greatly but would never wish her back. And the legacy she left behind ... she is no longer on the stage, but her story will be kept alive and continue through the lives of those she touched. And that is a very long line! I love this from The Last Battle by CS Lewis: It was the Unicorn who summed up what everyone was feeling. He stamped his right fore-hoof on the ground and neighed, and then cried: “I have come home at last! This is my real country! I belong here. This is the land I have been looking for all my life, though I never knew it till now. The reason why we loved the old Narnia is that it sometimes looked a little like this. Bree-hee-hee! Come further up, come further in!” Thank you, Aunt Eldora, for a life well lived to the honor and glory of God!
