I just got done arguing with someone who was saying that the FCC is need to protect us from telcom companies abusing us. Otherwise they would just go wild. One of his points was that comcast and cox were filtering packets, and we need government to stop them from doing things like that because of net neutrality. Hmm... meanwhile the person he voted for appointed a lobbyist which made this abusive practice completely legal so that everyone could do it. I.. really.. what? .. how... I HATE LIVING IN BIZARRO LAND!!!!!!!!
