I just got one of those VERY IMPORTANT calls from a PRIVATE number to lower my credit card interest rate. When I answered I was 18th in line to be assisted, yet my call was answered in 15 seconds. They asked for by balance so I yelled in to Ethel (Teri) and asked how much we owe on our single credit card.. Ethel yelled.. Hell I dont know Pervy!.. The lady on the phone said.. not to worry.. she asked for my full name.. so I said and spelled it.. Pervis Hobson Beatenbaugh III (A kid I remembered from cub scouts). She asked for the last 4 digits of my social security number.. I said Id have to give her the whole thing cuz I cant remember it if i just say the last part.. kinda like singing only the last part of the ABCs.. I have to start at the beginning. She asked for my zip code.. then she asked for my expiration date.. I said.. Honey.. if i knew when I was gonna expire, I would be out doin shit that is on my bucket list!! She said.. No sir... I mean your card!!.. I told her to let me get the card.. and I guess it took me 5 minutes to find it.. As soon as i stared reading it off.. I told her I got a call on call waiting... I explained it was my grandson... she said go ahead and answer if i wish.. I pressed and held the 5 button for three seconds.. and said very excitedly.. Bobby??!! she said no sir.. still me.. So I said.. Shit.. hold on.. and repeated the above process 3 more times.. She then said.. maybe he hung up? And I said.. oh? ya want me to hang up? Okay then.. nice talking to you!! and dropped her..
