I just had a very interesting conversation. My friend just experessed to me that they are a christian (i have know this person all my life and never knew they were/which i found strange). Anyway, my friend began to explain to me that they are saved, but they do not believe in the bible becuase people corrupted it, they do not believe that Jesus is God or that Jesus is required for redemption, they also do not believe that God is soveriegn or that He has perfect knowedge! Now, I have not yet repsonded, becauase as one who professes Jesus is God and is our redeember, I am still in shock my friend DEMANDS they are going to heaven.....anyway, I asked them why they believe they are going to heaven and they responded to me that theya re a very spiritual person, and I respond with "and?" My friend said thats it, god will recieve them because they are spritual and they do good things! I simply said, I do not agree and at this point i provided no additional information....I am thinking on how to respond to this CHRISTIAN WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE, DOES NOT BELIEVE JESUS IS GOD, DOES NOT BELIEVE THAT GOD REQUIRES ALL TO BE SAVED BY SURRENDING ALL TO JESUS CHRIST.....THINKING, THINKINING,......
