I just had an emotional meltdown, goodbye makeup! I saw the neurosurgeon to get his take on it all and he says no Chiari and no neurosurgical options are even a consideration. I asked why for YEARS and multiple MRIs said 2-3mm Chiari and now it is supposedly none, he just said I dont know. Told me just keep doing what I am doing, that being seeing a neurologist, a spine specialist, a gastroenterologist, my PCP and sports med doc and possibly add in pain management. Really? Because apparently all my zillion smalls symptoms dont equal one thing so yes continue to see 5-7 different doctors frequently. :( :( :( so disheartened. Have believed I have Chiari for over a decade and now I am told, nope yo dont have it. So what the heck?! Frustrated and disheartened beyond belief right now.
