I just had an interesting conversation with a coworker. He said, Chivalry is dead, because in our times women do not want to be associated with being weak. My take on it is that women can show strength and value and still want gentlemanly treatment. Dictionary definition of Chivalry: the sum of the ideal qualifications of a knight, including courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms; the combination of qualities expected of an ideal knight, especially courage, honour, justice, and a readiness to help the weak; courteous behaviour, especially towards women. Thoughts?
