I just had the nicest experience today! I had to take Gibbs to the vet for all his annual stuff. Mimo was with me because he got into the car before I could stop him. Now most of my friends know I have been teaching sign language to deaf dogs for over 14 years. Mimo is deaf and he knows signing. Anyway, as we were leaving a woman walked in and noticed Mimo and she made the sign for love. I havent used a lot of my sign language for 20 years but I was able to ask if she was deaf in sign language. She nodded so I signed that Mimo was deaf and I was teaching him sign language. Her eyes opened in surprise so I signed to her all the different signs he was learning. She just stared open mouthed at me then made the sign for love for Mimo then made the sign for good and love to me and gave me a huge smile and a wonderful southern hug. She made my day :)
