I just love the notice I received from a potential college that DJ wants to attend regarding financial aid: Thank you for choosing XXXX! The XXXX Financial Aid Dept is committed to helping you access financial resources to meet your education expenses. Based on a preliminary (in bold) review of your FAFSA information, we are pleased to provide award estimates (again, estimates in bold) regarding aid that may be available to meet your full-time tuition and fee expenses. Your expected financial award is $0.00. Our expected award sounds like we should anticipate some help. I thought about writing them back to let them know this is our fourth child that we will have helped through college. FOURTH! That should be good for at least a parking pass at the school. Wow. Thanks for getting me potentially excited to be pleased to provide you with ZERO aid.
