I just moved, went to see if I could find an energy efficient lightbulb to put in the front porch lamp. I wanted to see if theyve come out with a yellow bug light bulb in led or cfl. My friend was arguing with me about how ignorant it was for me to buy a $10 light bulb. I explained they arent that much, they were more expensive when the cfls first hit the market a decade ago or so...but now they were very reasonable, considering the savings on your power bill...bla bla. My friend?wouldnt have any of it. The government shouldnt be allowed to tell people what kind of light bulb to buy, they said. I said, well, there is our problem isnt it? People are too stupid and stubborn to allow common sense to take place. We dont need to be using 100 year old technology. Those waste so much energy and throw off more heat than light. And what about the mountains being exploded unnecessarily?? For the extra stupid heat bulbs?? So much for my bedside manner Im tired of all the brainwashed nonsense. Theyre still miffed. Oh well.
