I just read a facebooker friend of mine, I read him all the time. I sometimes login just to find out if he is written any thing new. He is a heavy writer, an intellectual per excellence and above all, he is from northern Nigeria- and I really do like that. His writings are always almost flawless. He is muslim, I am christian. He is APC sympathetic, I am PDP sympathetic; yet almost all the time as I read him, I nod my head in agreement to the meanings his beautiful crafting of words exude. I respect this fellow and he earned it square. Today I read him, as usual he didnt disappoint, his english flawless and his points carefully layered and stratified, but this time- I differed. Vehemently, I mean. And here comes that feeling when you think you sharply need do a rejoinder, but Awwww, for want of time you cant. Not satisfied, so you contact him, thank him for writing. It makes for a good read, you say; then you add but I totally disagree.He thanks you and demand you communicate him the areas you differ so you both could stretch over on them. Hmmm! busy day online, no escaping this. Afterall, you respect him.
