I just read an article about Jennifer Aniston and cant figure out why people are downing her (and everyone else who doesnt) for not having children. It said people who dont have kids are selfish. Do what? Just using myself as an example; I dont not have a child bc Im selfish, the honest answer why I dont is bc I never had one when I was younger and now Im at the point in my life where it scares me to death to think about being a parent and what all that responsibility means. I KNOW I would be an amazing mom, but at the same time I cant help but think about all the bad in the world. Or how I struggle sometimes with money. Or how Id have the biggest cloud of stress and worryfor my child over my head for the rest of my life. Im not saying its not worth it... I know it is times a million... but since Ive been given the choice and choose not to at this point in my life, that doesnt make me selfish. I think it makes me actually pretty selfless, bc if I put zero thought into how big having a child is Id have/want a troop of babies lol bc kids are aaaamazing. I just have thought it through for myself and my situation, thats all.
