I just returned from Japan on a business trip. Many people may not know how important it is to have a supportive cast of coworkers when you have some mobility issues. I am so lucky to have friends who help me load my mobility scooter into taxis,etc. My bosses are so supportive that they even arrange dinners with customers,etc. near my hotel or even in my hotel. It matters. I try to be as little a burden as I can be but a person on a mobility scooter is some extra work. I extend my thanks to all of my co-workers who understand that I have the heart it takes to go past a disability and continue to bring value to the world. I work hard at it all. May my fellow disabled find an employer who understands. It helps.
