I just saw something amazing while walking my dogs in the backyard. A baby bird was hopping frantically across the lawn trying to get away from us. Thankfully dogs were oblivious. I sequestered the dogs and went back to see if I could find the nest and put it back but momma bird had arrived and was screaming at me fluttering between me and her baby. Seemingly warning me and, at the same time, giving the baby instructions. So,I went to get my camera but momma already had baby hidden but was sending steady whistles for either me to back off or the baby to stay silent. Wow! What an amazing experience.
