I just smile when I see this family that I have built. ............. But many times, I wonder why it had to be broken............ Why someone dearest to me and so loved had to be taken away........ Today is my son Jericos 21st birthday...he was taken away from us. But I know he is in a good place. Where there is no concept of time and he need not count the years.... On his special occassion, We want to greet him a very Happy birthday. .....it was just two years ago when he showed up to us after being away for 12 days after his accident. .. in a casket...on his his First Viewing day......in a funeral parlor....on his birthday....!!!.....how hard.....or easy could that be....for a parent like me....to greet him at that kind of state?!! You can never really find the words for this......... yet.... There were thousands who came....and we were so busy attending to so many things that we could not really afford to speak to everyone we know there...we were not even able to send out thank you cards too to those who attended and helped us through our ordeal after the funeral...... And so I take this time now...to formally thank you all...in behalf of my wife Fe (Pipay) and other remaining son James for being there with us in our time of sorrow....whoever you are who were there and lent a hand and your time...by just being there....you know who you are...we couldnt send you the thank you cards no more...but....we thank you profusely......for your presence....we dont know what couldve happened to us without you being there by our side..........our relatives, friends, classmates, acquaintances, Jericos friends and fellow cyclists, my brothers- sisters in Christ with the Cursillo movement and the Knights of Columbus...and others we just didnt know who just went there to show genuine sympathy. ... We are doing quite okay now...sort of....and we will see each other again soon and from time to time...we will still renew our bonds and be together enjoying as a large family....we are actually a big extended family....for the Lord. We will always be together....even in the hereafter................. God bless everyone of you. ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY again Jerico...we are so proud of the love you gave to all of us...we have learned so much when you left.....we truly miss you.... we miss you so much.....See you in heaven later anak....
