I just want thanksgiving to be done and over with----Im grateful for what I have every day out of the year and dont need one scheduled day to pen in being grateful on historically warped holiday. People stand outside in the freezing cold tapping on department doors to open for doorbuster sales while homeless huddle nearby, wishing they could go in for warmth without being thrown out. I hate shopping as it is---and thanksgiving is all about handing over that credit card faster than the next. Hopefully it wont be snowy that day so I can go on a hike and/or volunteer at the food bank and stay as far from advertised garbage as possible.
