I just wanted to take a moment to tell you all about Dr. Steven Kinneys unprofessionalism in the workplace. He is located close to the Hermitage Walmart. Long story short-my mom is a private pay patient. She has had some moderate medical issues and sought out this man for help. Instead, at her follow up visit when she had additional questions he obviously did not feel like answering-he explains to her, and I quote, let me tell you how I run my business, you are a private pay patient, which means you do not have insurance. I charge $70 for 15 minutes of my time. If you are going to have a lot of questions, you need to tell them upfront you need an extended office visit. Now, mind you, at the beginning of the visit my mother sounded very horse and congested-he did not look in her ears or throat, just told her to use some nasal spray. Now I am a pediatric nurse and understand very well the ends and outs of the medical field and the business at hand. But this man has a God Complex he really needs to get rid of. The medical profession is suppose to be for compassionate people who actually care about the well being of their patients, not just the dollar amount at hand. Ive had many of patients come in to see the pediatrician I work for with multiple issues-which she always addresses, even if it puts us hours behind. My mom was more than willing to pay additional funds if needed. My point is-he is an arrogant asshole who has lost my entire family and several friends as patients. Not that he would care. I hope you all realize this man is caring for the people in this community and deserves to be called out on his actions and poor bedside manners.
