I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. Finding this page [and your book Kissing Fish] has truly changed my life. I dont know how to really put this, but for many years I have felt very isolated and alone in my convictions. Im from the buckle of the Bible belt, and having a progressive Christian mindset is pretty frowned upon by most people in this area. I never understood the way other Christians thought, and they never understood the way that I thought. I never even knew that my way of thinking had a name until I found this page, and NOW... oh now, Ive begun looking for a Progressive Christian church, and I have found SEVERAL (yes, they really do have them in Oklahoma :) in my area. I visit your page often to read the thoughts and opinions of other like-minded people, and I feel a connection with the members of this page, although I have never met them. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, because YOU GET IT! And not just you, but thousands of others! For the first time in my life, Ive found SO many people who are like me! And I know that probably sounds silly and dramatic, but Ive been searching for this my whole life! Ive always struggled with my faith because I felt so alone in it, but not anymore!
