I just watched two films that have left a permanent imprint on me. Yesterday I watched Annie Liebovitz: Life Through a Lens and today I viewed What Remains - The Life and Work of Sally Mann. Im on a quest to go a more challenged route with my photography and these two artists have inspired me. Ive always admired their art but seeing something about their daily lives, their own insecurities and vulnerabilities and their own artistic path encourages me. And you get to see work other than that for which they are known. It might be time to get back to film and a larger format.
