I keep seeing these posts about real country and deleting people who support that crap pop at the rodeo tonight! There really aint a definition of real country! What Jones was doing, the older Hank fans called pop, what Conway, Dolly and Kenny Rogers were doing, that older Jones crowd called pop, what Waylon n Willie were doing, that older Hank, Roy Rogers crowd called pop, what Garth was doing... The folks from 10 years before called it pop, it goes on and on! Hell, the biggest hit Willie ever wrote was a pop song by Patsy! As far as the Blue Grass and Irish folk people are concerned... Which is the root of all country music..I see the same people that request Waylon, REK and Bingham... Dancin to FGL, Luke and Aldean! Mainly because their women are... . Its all pop! Thats a fact... The way I see it... Even though some bands aint my flavor... music moves the soul, influences the mood and cures all! What is pure crap to me... is the greatest thing someone else has ever heard or is that perfect message for that perfect moment theyll never forget. Music isnt good, bad, brilliant... Its none of that, its music... Its personal! To say something is ruining a certain format makes no sense at all... How can you judge what makes someone else feel good? Country has been evolving since the late 1700s... And itll keep evolving! What is real to me is completely outta touch for someone else. I wonder if we could ever just be happy that millions of people are feeling the music... Maybe be happy that people found an escape from the REAL crap in life that makes them feel down... I dont care if you love Miley, Slayer, the backstreet boys or my bud Brandon Rhyder... Ill love ya the same and wont delete you for finding your rhythm and smiles and comfort in a band that I dont care for! Good for you for discovering something that moves you! Im pretty sure that Hitler dude deleted people for not liking what he liked! Time to move on up in the mind... Music=universal language of HELL YEAH!! Carry on
