I kept gazing at your flawless face I loved the way you combed your hair Your eyes were the perfect ocean Where I would love to take a ride You didnāt speak a single word Yet you kept staring at me As if I was a coveted prize And you were the winner of the race Your face broke into a sheepish grin My heart skipped a million beats Without another thought, without another word You blurted that you are in love I laughed so loud, the onlookers stared You were scared and the grin changed You made a silly puppy face And asked me what broke me into fits I said you hardly know my name You are unaware of what I do You do not know if I am really sane And your first words to me are I love you?? You stole my heart with your words You said,āI do not care what the world calls you I do not give a damn to what you do Even if you are sane, you make me crazy like no one else and so I say I love youā I still smile at the memory We stood on the pavement for hours and hours I went on talking and you heard me through And finally when the day ended, i said I love you too. Will my broken heart never heal? Will my yearning never fulfill?
