I know a lot of people will disagree, and I am fine with that... But, I am very very tired of California Chromes owners and frankly I think they are pretty dumb. Its not secret that Kentucky has shown very little hospitality for years. They make their horseman PAY to park etc. I dont agree with that, but you dont see any other derby winners crying about how poorly they were treated... Secondly every track has its own set of rules. If flair strips are not allowed, they arent allowed. Now, California Chrome having a shot at the triple crown and threatening not to run because they wont change their rules for him???? Wait in what world should it be okay that we bully tracks into changing their rules to suit us??! First publicly bashing Kentucky for being RUDE and inhospitable and now Belmont because they wont bend their rules for you.... Frankly Im not impressed.... I hate Kentucky isnt bend over backwards for their horseman but they arent for anyone... Its crowded, its crazy, 90% of the help are volunteers.... And no I dont think they should bend their flair strip rule for California Chrome in the Belmont just because of who he is... And frankly not watching your horse in person because you want to prove a point publicly to Kentucky, didnt impress me... If Chrome where mine hell nor high water would have kept me home !!!!!!
