I know its Tuesday, but heres a little throwback USC short film that I worked on back in the day. We filmed most of the film in LA. We filmed some of the film a few hours outside of LA. We filmed part of the film at a place called Knights Ferry, CA. My family graciously let my crew stay at their house for a night. My Uncle Jay, Aunt Patricia, and the Cortes Family contributed to the making of WIDE AWAKE. They fed us dinner that night. We had some awesome spaghetti. After ......dinner..., the crew played on The Cortess backyard trampoline. The crew fell in love with my family; how could they not. A matter of fact, the short time that while we were there, Matthew the Cinematographer, fell in love with my cousin Emily. He was ready to leave the LA life and marry my cousin. Great times. My cousin Ben Cortes and his friends helped with the filming of the lake scene. Ben also showed the crew his piano skills at the house. Thanks again. You guys are awesome. youtu.be/B2vYE1PLFx4
