I know its been a while but just to through out what has been going on, over the fall there were a few good projects. Right now Im working on a new heavy lift octo. I am actually building this one to sell. The key to this copter is that is should have the ability to carry multiple types of cameras and payload. Its brushless gimbal can be set up as a one man follow mode operation, or with a very quick change, a two man operation for a pilot and camera man. The camera man will have 360 capabilities with 110 degree tilt (-20 deg horizontal to +90 straight down) Power distribution is formed through an Octo split with a quick release plugs for each ESC/Motor position. Also ESC communication path is integrated through the center hubs bottom plate in results keeping the copter makeup clean. The frame comes with retractable gear and its able to hold 10KG (22lbs) which will allow for mounting a Canon 5d mark iii with a 20,000 mha and that should allow for 16min safe flight time.
